Stoa Games

Game Pieces

The cards and tiles the games are played with — a clean teaching style, legible at a glance. A single piece is an atom; a hand or meld is the molecule. Every fixture is generic — never a licensed card.

IP-clean All pieces here are generic teaching art. The NMJL card and any licensed card are never reproduced — the full set is itemized in docs/strategy/gameplay-assets.md.

Playing cards

The card-family piece (Canasta, Bridge, Pinochle, Cribbage…). One corner rank + one center suit, legible at a glance and uncluttered at small sizes.

Mahjong tiles

The tile-family piece (American + Riichi mahjong). Three numbered suits, the honors, flowers and jokers — recognizing them is itself a lesson, so the iconography reads clearly.

Hands & melds

Compositions of the piece atoms — the molecule layer. Cards fan with overlap; tiles sit in a rack; a claimed set is a meld.
